Welcome to Olney Art with Motor Art

I hope you like my site.
It combines my passion for painting, cars and the place where I live.
I’ve drawn and painted pictures of cars since I was a teenager,
Since moving to Olney in North Bucks 10 years ago I’ve developed a new interest
by combining the two.

The site is in two sections;
Original Motor Art & Prints and Olney Art & Prints

I’ll update the site with new additions on a regular basis- since it’s launch in March 2008 it’s generated huge success as a virtual gallery.

It’s been a really productive few months with a number of Aston related works selling and more in the pipeline. I’ve also produced a new painting of the Cowper and Newton Museum featuring a cute Austin Seven Swallow rolling by - if you came to the recent Lions Motorama you’ll have seen the open tourer version - weren’t cars tiny in the 30’s?
A couple of my winter scenes have featured in the automotive industry charity BEN’s Christmas Cards. There’s also two recent local church paintings of Emberton and Stagsden.

The motor art side has been very busy  - a couple of different and challenging commissions that have been really well received and have led to further work. You’ll also see two interesting views of the old Soul’s garage separated by 80 years of change and a Mercedes montage that now resides in Poland.

If you frequent The Robin Hood at Clifton Reynes (and why not? - it’s a bracing walk across the meadow) I’ve got a few framed prints up there.

I’ve added un priced images at the end of the motoring gallery  - a sort of archive of what I can do.

I’ll be at the Cherry Fair again with a wide selection of motoring and local scene framed prints for sale. It’s on Saturday 26th June next to the church between 1 and 4.30pm.

The site’s not just about art - why don’t you use it use it to help me create for you bespoke
Business Cards, Wedding Cards, Calendars, Stationery - or that unique gift or retirement present?
Enjoy.
