Welcome to Olney Art with Motor Art

Brocks
I hope you like my site It combines my passion for Painting, Cars and the place where I live. I’ve drawn and painted pictures of cars since I was a teenager, Since moving to Olney in North Bucks 9 years ago I’ve developed a new interest by combining the two.
The site is in two sections: Original Motor Art & Prints and Olney Art & Prints
I’ll update the site with new additions on a regular basis- since it’s launch in March 2008 it’s generated huge success as a virtual gallery.
New work includes two unusual local scenes - the allotments and a Market Place scene called ‘Coal and Rain’ inspired by the hand coloured photo on Oliver Ratcliff’s 1907 Olney Book. (You may still be able to get copies from The Olney & District Historical Society OHDS).The originals are on sale at The House Gallery, Olney.
For petrol heads I’ve produced a Morgan Aero on a winter’s evening run, plus a large work called ‘Aston’s 50th’ to commemorate their 1959 Le Mans win. You’ll also find a watery painting of Lewis splashing round Monaco last year - sorry it belongs to my son Euan.
For details of where my work is currently displayed see The Artist section
I’ve just finished a lot of work for The Spirit of Dacorum Run on May 3rd(see www.spiritofdacorum.co.uk) and I’ll have originals and prints for sale at the Lions Motorama in The Market Place on June 14th and The Cherry Fair June 27th. I’m hoping to have new work on display for both.
The site’s not just about art - why don’t you use it use it to help me create for you bespoke Business Cards, Christmas Cards and Stationery - or that unique gift or retirement present? Local business Christmas Card Pack commissions were very popular last year (a framed original snow scene and bespoke A5 Christmas Cards with your own messaging and logo). It’s a good time to consider these and beat the end of year rush - I can do snow in summer!
Enjoy.
